Europe weather until Friday evening: cooler west and north, warmer south-east

Late on Thursday afternoon, conditions remain mixed across Europe. Amsterdam is near 16 degrees with rain, Dublin around 18 degrees under thick cloud, Oslo about 14 degrees with light rain, and Warsaw close to 18 degrees with brighter spells returning. Farther south-east, Athens stands out with around 28 degrees and plenty of sunshine.

Western Europe stays more unsettled

Amsterdam keeps the most unsettled profile into Thursday evening, with cloud, wind and rain. Dublin also remains rather mixed, and Friday again brings cloud and some showers. These areas continue to carry the most Atlantic influence.

Northern and central Europe mostly moderate

Oslo turns quieter on Friday with a mix of sun and cloud after today’s showers. Warsaw also trends milder and warmer on Friday, climbing to around 22 degrees as clouds increase again. This means central and northern Europe are variable, but not facing widespread severe weather.

South-east Europe remains the warm spot

Athens continues with sunshine and around 29 degrees both on Thursday and Friday. This confirms the larger European split: cooler, more changeable weather in the west and north-west, but a much warmer and steadier pattern in the south-east through Friday evening.
